Walk the Dog Services has been in business for over 20 years. We are a family owned business and we hire no one. No strangers
in the home.
And over those 20 years we have seen all sorts of pets:  Dogs, Cats, Iguana's, Pot Belly pigs, All size birds, Turtles, Rabbits, Mice Snakes, Horses........and on and on
.
If your planning a trip away from home and you’re reading this, than odds are
you are wrestling with a little bit of anxiety over what is the best choice for
having your pets looked after.  Trust me, I’ve been there and I know how you
feel.  In fact, my own experiences in dealing with this for my past  dogs is exactly
what inspired me to start Walk the Dog Services


We offer an alternative to Kennel Care, in that the animals get to stay at home.  

Having a Pet Sitter  will help the following:

Possible reduced stress on pets because pets are cared for in their own  homes
No "travel trauma" to pets because they do not need to be transported anywhere 
Exposure to illnesses and parasites of other animals is minimized Required vaccinations are often less restrictive than those necessary at a kennel
Pets stay on their regular routines and do not need to adapt to a new  environment
Not having to deal with neighbors, friends or family members feeling that
they are inconvenienced

We Offer two types of Pet Sitting:

Dog Sitting
3-4 Visit per day for dogs (conventional pet sitting) where we come in and out of the home.

Each day while you are  away we will visit your home to walk, feed and play with your pet(s) where they
will remain in their familiar and safe environment. Your pet will follow their regular diet and exercise routine and medical treatments if necessary.

When you first contact us, we will schedule an  initial consultation meeting at your home which is free..  This is so you can get to know us  and our services and we can meet you and your family.  It is important that your  pets like us too!  We'll review your completed information form with you to help  us understand your pet's needs.  We'll also get pertinent information such as

Vet info, emergency phone numbers and how you'd like things done.
